Great addition to the “I Can Be” series
I was happy to see a robotics doll added to the typical doctors and teachers. I like that it is so specific. I also love the fact that this doll comes in 4 styles, with 3 unique ones besides the blonde. The AA doll was my favorite, I love her face sculpt and hairstyle. She was the one I chose for my daughter, though I may later steal the doll for myself and swap her with another ha! The accessories are cute and fairly well done, with goggles, a robot, and a laptop, which seem very appropriate. The clothing is fun and goes with the theme, it is clearly playline quality, but this is a playline doll! I appreciate that she was given 3 separate pieces of clothing instead of a one piece, and pants instead of a short skirt or dress. Overall a great doll from a timely profession with a nice variety of dolls to choose from.

Fantastic Barbie!
Finally a Barbie that represents what kids are doing in school nowadays. My daughter lived the little computer as well. I hope more Barbies as such come out in the future!

Cute doll!
I received this doll in exchange for an honest review. The quality is good as the doll is Barbie brand. Barbie is known for inexpensive quality dolls. I do like that they are making dolls that have important jobs like Robotics Engineer for a change. Way to get with the times!

Just not for my son.
I got this for my 4 year old son. The first Barbie I have ever gotten for him. He was really excited to get it and played with it immediately. He has not touched it since though... probably just not for him. He did like opening the “laptop” but had some difficulty opening it on his own. The accessories were not very sturdy or well made. They also got separated and lost easily. The Barbie itself is pretty standard, well made.

Girl power!
I love this doll. It shows a women in a job that most probably think of a man doing. Let's teach our girls anything is possible. Well done Barbie!

Great doll
I received this doll about a month ago and my daughter loved it! She started playing with immediately. She enjoyed the robot and laptop that came along with it except the laptop was a little flimsy. The locking mechanism became loose after a few time of opening and closing. My daughter loves to dress her dolls in different clothing. This doll was a little hard to dress/undress because of her arm being bent and not having a "swivel" at the elbow of the left arm. Otherwise a great product.

My Daughter is in Love
We received the black version of the Barbie Engineer Doll and my daughter is absolutely ecstatic with her. She is so happy to see herself represented in a science-based Barbie. She told me that this new Barbie is her favorite! This particular Barbie has natural hair and is dressed in pants, a shirt, and "denim" jacket. I'm not sure what kind of shoes she has because, as with all of Barbie's shoes, they were promptly loss. She comes with goggles, a laptop that opens and closes, and a robot that my daughter says can be programmed (via imagination) to clean her room. All in all, a Barbie win in our family.
