awesome everday jacket

I picked up the Barbour Classic Bedale recently, and honestly, it’s quickly become my go-to jacket. The waxed cotton feels solid without being heavy, and it somehow makes even a simple outfit look put-together. It handles rain, wind, and pretty much anything without fuss. The fit is relaxed but still sharp, and the little details — the corduroy collar, the pockets, the hardware — make it feel special. It’s one of those purchases where you immediately feel the quality, and I can already tell it’s going to age really well. Overall, just a reliable, classy jacket that I’m genuinely happy I bought.

Staple piece that will last

I got this for my husband. This jacket is a staple piece of clothing that can last. He loves it since there is a little weight to it so it feels substantial. The only thing he isn’t crazy about is the high polish gold zipper.

The New Favorite

My husband was on the hunt for a new jacket and looked into various Barbour models. He has had similar Filson products but settled on the Classic Bedale as the fabric is softer, less shiny and less stiff--overall, it's just a much more comfortable and better fitting coat. It's also great that there are so many sizes as he is a fit person and was able to find that works better for trim people. The classic olive color is handsome and he also likes the soft corduroy collar as well as the elastic inner cuffs. This jacket is definitely his new favorite.
