Perfect Puffer for Me

After 3 winters without a suitable puffer and with a lot of research, I finally found my ideal puffer. This Barbour puffer is lightweight but warm during the coldest NYC winter weather. The fur is detachable from the hood (my major requirement) since I wear the fur only to dress up the coat. Also, the hood itself is detachable if I want to wear the puffer on a milder day. The sleeves have added styling since the pattern is crisscrossed, differing from the larger horizontal sections on the main torso. Finally, I am glad that the puffer does not have a sewn-in vest which seems to have become "a thing" but which adds additional bulk and extra work to get into the coat. I love the olive color, a nice change from my mostly black coat wardrobe.

Great addition to my closet.

Great coat. My favorite part is that the faux fur hood comes off. Not a fan of faux fur. The pockets zip - another good feature.
