material too tough

I was convinced to buy this item based on great reviews by others. When I met this in person, the style was nice and simple and I love simplicity. However, the material is too tough around the bunion area, it won't bend when I step, and the legs are too wide around my Achilles area. I usually wear size 7.5M-8. I got 7.5M and it felt a bit loose. Others may like this , but I am returning mine.

love these

I ordered the lighter/ clay ones but the boots are too sensitive to dirt, so i can strictly wear in the snow so they won't get stained. Ordered a size up, but they are very long. I have to compromise the length for a larger width, as the W ones were sold out. Can't wait to wear them in the snow.
