I really like the 2 colors I have and they hold up well on my oily eyelids. They are mostly still there when I get home after having been on for 14-20 hours, can't even say that for most other eyeshadows. I love that they don't make me look like a disco ball, although I have to admit I freaked when I found out they had glitter in them and almost didn't even try them! The glitter in these is so fine and dispersed that it is not even noticeable unless you are applying your makeup with a magnifying mirror, and it just adds dimension and takes away the flatness. I do wish they had more colors, and that they replicated some of the colors from the line they replaced, especially Camel. That color was perfect on me and Low Key is close but with a less flattering undertone (I'm pale olive). Base-ic is great, but I'd like more range.
Not The Same as 5inone
This shadow creases and comes no where close to being a primer/shadow as 5inone was! Sorry they discontinued the former shadow! What were they thinking???
great color and primer
I wear this as my eyeshadow. a tiny dab is plenty for me. YOu can layer it on for a darker shade . I love the feel of it. And it looks very natural. BUT it is not sweatproof.
Meh...
I've been using the 5 and 1 in Soft Linen as a primer for years. Appears it been discontinued so I thought I'd try this in BrightAF. Like the 5 and 1, you need only a thin layer or it cakes and and looks chalky. It does crease immediately so you have to work it out before moving on. I'd purchase again, maybe a different shade, until I find something I like better.
Great!
Love this! It is creamy, blends easily and stays put. I had never tried Bare Minerals eye shadow before but I am glad I took a chance online.
Disappointed
Ended up returning because when use as a primer, it lightens the color eyeshadow you use and I didnt like it
GReat product
I really like this product …. it does not clump or crease in lids...stays on until removed with makeup remover...
