My new go-to bare minerals foundation

I used to swear by the original bare minerals mineral powder foundation, until my skin decided to become more dry as I aged. This is my new favorite foundation and a little bit goes a long way! Perfect for more dry skin. Apply with a wet sponge or a brush.

I wanted to love it...

I’ve been a longtime fan of BareMinerals and had high hopes for the ORIGINAL Pure Serum Radiant Natural Liquid Foundation SPF 20. Unfortunately, this one was a letdown for me.First, the packaging was a mess when it arrived. Product had leaked all over the bottle, and even after wiping it down, it continued to smear and waste product. For the price point, I expected a much cleaner, more functional design.The formula itself was also disappointing. It’s extremely runny, which made application tricky and uneven. I also found that the shade was much lighter than expected compared to the online swatch, so it didn’t blend well into my skin tone.I really wanted to love this foundation since I typically enjoy BareMinerals products, but between the packaging issues, texture, and shade accuracy, this just didn’t work for me. I’ll be sticking to their other formulas in the future.

Liquid Foundation

I recently purchased makeup online and was disappointed to find the serum had leaked during shipping. Despite experiencing recurring issues with online purchases, I decided to accept the loss and clean up the spill. The product's packaging design is inconvenient, lacking a pump or easy application method. While the color match is slightly off, it remains reasonably acceptable for my needs.

Color doesn't match the older color, and the product has a funny smell

I used the website to get a comparable color to a discontinued color. The match isn't 100% so the foundation, when its on, is visible. Also, it has a stale-ish smell. Perhaps from the SPF factor. The consistency is a little watery which seems fine since the desire is not to have a cakey but more natural look. In summary, will not buy again.

Disappointed

I have been a bare minerals user for almost 20 years, using a variety of products. For the first time , I was disappointed with the liquid foundation. The first bottle I received was damaged. When I received the second bottle, I was unhappy with the texture and coverage of the product.

Not sure

The product is messy and has a runny consistency. When I use the pump the foundation runs down the side while I frantically try to catch it with my finger. It disappears quickly into my face and coverage is very sheer and light and leaves a soft glow. I don’t like a heavy foundation so this is nice in that regard. I just wish to was easier and not so messy to get the product from the bottle. A lot is wasted running down the side of the pump.
