Glitter goes everywhere

I love the style of this dress, it runs a little long I’m 5’7 I would have to get it hemmed if I kept it. I thought it was a sequins dress not glitter I love glitter but it was going everywhere. When I tried it on it is a little itchy in my opinion and very warm. I like the dress but I don’t love it enough to be itchy and hot at the event I’m going to.
