Fun and festive

A fun and festive picture book about celebrating traditions. Learn about the Jewish holiday in a creative and kid-friendly way. Also a great opportunity to discuss the word 'spotless'. What exactly does that word mean? Are streaks and splotches considered spots? Are sparkly and spotty the same thing? This book is messy, lively, and lots of fun.

Hanukkah fun!

What a fun Hanukkah book! Ruthie is a delightful main character who is determined to wear her "pajamakkahs" all eight days and nights instead of saving them for the final night of Hanukkah. She rolls with every splotch and streak, refusing to let a little muck get in the way of her holiday fun. Highly recommend!

Ruthie is adorable, and kids will LOVE her creative determination to wear her new pajamas for all eight nights of Hanukkah! I love the way that all the festival traditions of this loving family are naturally woven throughout the story. Kids will want to read this for all eight nights, and beyond!
