Wonderful!

The Little Puppy by Nicola Killen is an absolutely delightful story that follows a little girl spending a fun-filled day with a puppy. Though their time together starts off on a joyful note, things take a turn when the puppy, left alone for just a minute, creates a mess that leaves the girl feeling upset. Seeking a bit of space, she sets off on a heartwarming journey. The art is truly beautiful, with a striking color palette of black and white, accented by splashes of red and shiny foil. The clever cut-out pages that transition from one scene to another add a charming touch to the storytelling. My sixteen-month-old son adores pointing out the dog illustrations on every page, making this book a family favorite that will be cherished for years to come.
