Very cozy

Its the type of book you want to read all cozied up near a fire. It is slow at first in my opinion but I love the mythical creatures and the descriptions of each. it is interesting. I loved it for what it was.

Cozy story, bit repetitive

I try to venture off from my normal go to genre and had seen a lot of reviews about this one. It’s a cute cozy story but became a bit repetitive for me. A few things were repetitive throughout the book.

Love it!

I’m currently reading this book and I’m really enjoying it!! If you love magic and an introvert learning how to come out of her shell and connect with others than you’ll love this book! I really connected with the main character and it made me enjoy the book even more! Now I will say… a large part of why I picked this up was because of the talking spider plant… and I gotta say, it was definitely worth it! I love the dynamic between the main character and her trusty little plant sidekick!

Favorite Book of The Year

I was obsessed with this book for page one. Everything from the politics to the jam making, from the romance to this the sentient spider plant...everything was perfection. The world Durst created is so interesting and I can't wait for the next book. The story feels like curling up in a cozy blanket while drinking a cup of hot chocolate. This has sparked my love for cozy fantasy, and I could not be happier with this being my first love of the genre.
