questions about quality

I did not get to unwrap it . I started to but saw a hole that went all the way through the backing to the yarn. had to tape up the bag and send it back. now I don’t want that rug. very bad experience

Pretty but will it hold up

The rug looks and feels lovely. But I am concerned about the excessive shedding. There's only 2 of us so there isn't a lot of foot traffic.
