Sizing runs very small

This dress is beautiful. But. The cut is really strange and the top only came a 1/3 of the way down my upper body. The stretchy part covered the top 1/3 of my chest and was tight. I normally wear a medium which is what I ordered and I am a 36C. This fit like a Small or probably XS. So disappointing. It would have been great to wear on my vacation. But definitely going back.
