Relatively Happy

I really like these sandals. They are stylish and comfortable. I do have one complaint though. The right one is made ever so slightly different than the left. It's hard to explain. It just looks a bit off. Not worth the trouble of returning though.

Comfortable sandals

I bought different sandals and was not lucky until I found these. I bought the Hickery and the Fire color. They are comfortable and fits true to size. Love the adjustable strap on the side. It is not tight at all and I have wiggle room. This was important since my feet are chubby.

Disappointing

I am really disappointed by this sandal and it comes down to poor construction. I wear a 7.5 womens and ordered these in an 8 and the footbed fit my foot perfectly. I definitely could not have sized down or my foot would have been hanging off the edge. However, despite the excellent fit of the footbed and how cushy and cute these sandals are, I am returning them. The two straps that cross over the top of the foot and Velcro around the heel are way too long so it causes the strap too be too loose on the heel. I have a slightly high arch and have never had straps be too loose. I only ever struggle with them being too tight on top of my foot. These were so loose that my heel was coming out of the strap in the back when I walked. Furthermore, you cannot tighten it! The closure is designed in such a way that you cannot make it tighter. You could make it slightly looser, but not tighter because there is a thick leather piece on the back side of the velcro that will not pull through the metal ring. If you force it, it sticks out and looks terrible because it's too thick and rigid. So far Bearpaw is not impressing me with their non-boot shoes. I have a pair of their boots which fit fine but the two other shoes/sandals I have tried to get from them have had a poor fit or severely inaccurate sizing. I would be hesitant to buy from here again, to be honest. It's too inconsistent and not worth the hassle of returning.
