Adorable but fell apart in 30 minutes!

While these are beyond cute (I bought the white bear boot toppers) they are either poorly made or I received a bum pair. Literally half an hour after putting them on I noticed the edging came out, leaving open yarn loops. As the day progressed the unraveling continued until I had to take them off for fear of complete unraveling. When I took them off I saw it wasn't just the one, but the left one had also started to unravel. This is terribly disappointing as I received so many compliments and they are not only adorable, but such a great way to accessorize an outfit in an inexpensive, visible way in winter as well as change up your boots for more variety. I'm going to return these. I will take a chance and exchange for another pair in hopes I received a pair made near quitting time. They aren't expensive though I paid less than the listed price here due to holiday sales/coupons. I can't recommend or not recommend these. I will update this review if the exchanged pair fairs better or the same. I suggest taking a very good look at these before taking the tags off or before an in-store purchase to ensure there's no fraying or loose knit, though mine had no loose knit. I hate to leave such a negative review on a product with so much potential. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 only because of the absolute darling idea and the many compliments I received.
