love the dress, color too light

I had been eyeing this dress for some time and finally bit the bullet when a great sale popped up. I ordered the turquoise color but was disappointed when it arrived because it was much lighter - almost a pastel color and not appropriate for the October wedding I had intended this for. I truly do love the dress and don't want to return it; might exchange for the black.
