Disappointing: Shrinks 3 inches and gives off dye

These were super cute before washing, However I wouldn't recommend buying unless they are far too long on you. I hand washed before wearing, in cold water, and they gave off copious amounts of blue black dye. Even while rinsing more dye came off. So don't even think about wearing these over a light colored swim suit unless you wash them first. In addition to that, the pants, which reached to my ankle before washing, shrunk at least 3 inches. This made them look ridiculous, so I am going to return them. In this price range manufacturers should preshrink their fabrics before garment construction.
