Steamer is good. Went to DL manual and it is for a skillet, not the steamer. ( didn't know how else to inform the site)

I use my steamer several times a week. It will leak all over the counter if the baskets are put on the divider in the wrong order! The Basket numbered 1 MUST go on the bottom and 2 goes on the top. If 2 is placed on the bottom with 1 on top, it will leak water all over the counter. It's necessary to pay attention. Also, if what you're steaming takes an hour (like whole potatoes) keep 1 cup of water next to steamer and add it half way through. otherwise it will run out of water.

I love my steamer. I used it several times now and I didn't have any problems with it. It is easy to clean, fast and overall it is my main appliance that I use to cook healthy food for my weight loss diet. For me it definitely works well.

2 years agoLEAKS ALL OVER COUNTER
After reading the instructions carefully, I used it to steam vegetables and was horrified to see it had leaked all over the counter and ran down the sides of the cabinets. It was absolutely a huge mess!! Would not recommend and will be returning ASAP.

Great Features
We really like ours and use it a lot. The clear plastic steam trays are wonderful for steaming vegetables for perfect color and doneness. Positives Good price useful (for all its features) Two large capacity “steaming bowls” (14.2 cups per bowl) ‘Drip Tray” to catch cooking steam (low cost steamers do not have this and that can dramatically shorten the life of the steamer) Includes big rice bowl for grains Cooking light indicator Drawer to add more water during cooking – very useful Manual timer with light indicates power on One pleasant chime/ring, indicates time is up Nice manual with many timing charts (Few) Negatives Timer, once set, cannot be turned back for less time Cannot remove bottom of steam trays (so cannot and combine two bowl rings, to make a deeper tray for tall foods or bowls) No Warm Option No Delay Cook

Love this steamer!
This steamer can do so much and I don't have to have other appliances like an egg cooker and rice maker. Have never had any problems with it. I highly recommend it.
