Major Disappointment!

After much research, purchased this Bella slow cooker for several of its features. We were attracted to the oval shape, the aluminum pan (after several ceramic pots), the refined appearance, the safety of the locking lid. We were also impressed by the number of 5 star reviews on this site.Turned out a delicious pot roast in our Bella, probably one of the best meals we've ever prepared in a "crock pot" type cooker. However, the gasket around the lid now is permeated with a strong onion odor. Attempted to remove the odor, used warm water and dish detergent several times. Then several tries with vinegar. The odor did not lessen. We were so impressed with the oven that we decided we'd even purchase another lid and keep the original lid for dishes using onions, similar strong scented foods. However, I learned from Bella's customer service a few days ago they do not sell replacement parts for this particular appliance due to its size! Therefore, we not only could not purchase a back up lid for a new appliance due to faulty workmanship, but we now know that if any part breaks, we will not be able to get one. The rubber gasket seems to be cheaply crafted. There is a rough looking seam in it. Critically, knowing the strong onion odor cannot be removed from the gasket and that should any part break - a handle, the lid, etc., we do not care to keep this product. We believe Bella (Sensio) should not be selling a product that is prone to problems and that replacement parts are not available for. Time to go back to the drawing board in regard to the lid. As an added note, attempted to register this product on line; it is not included in the product lineup as it is fairly new.

Crock Pot- must see

Fantastic product, easy clean, heats up quickly, seals tight & have yet to notice any hot / burnt spots on the bottom. Bought it for my sister then bought another for myself!

Great Slow Cooker

Bought this for my husband after a friend dropped our old one at a tailgate party. This is a wonderful device - light, easy to clean, easy to use. He made a mushroom in wine recipe on Christmas day that had to cook for 8 hours on low and was that terrific!! Yes, the cord is a bit short. Otherwise, love it!

Love it!

This is my first slow cooker and I'm loving it! Have made chicken curry and beef stew and they came turned out great. Love coming home to a hearty meal.

Best Crock Pot I've ever had

Yes, I called it a crock pot, I'm old school. This crock pot is not old school. I love that I can sear in the same pot as I'm cooking in. I also love the fact that it travels so easily.

Must Have Product

I made a smart purchase recently and bought the Bella Slow Cooker. I cooked Short Ribs the other night, and they came out absolutely delicious - nice and tender. The Bella Slow Cooker is easy to use, and the digital display is definitely a plus. Can't beat the price either. This is a must have product!
