The watch-box arrived today and it came very well packed, in a second carboard box with foam wrapping, and peanuts top and bottom and sides. That's where the quality ended unfortunately.
The "glass" had no film or protection on either side and was dirty. The velour lining was in good shape but it's a bit rough and I'm fearful it will scratch the inside of my stainless steel watch bands and the back of my watch faces. The wood was chipped and flaking on some rough-cut corners and was cracked in two places. The left hinge was broken/loose and the display lid sat crooked by several mm because of this.
I needed a cheap watch-box for a year until I spring for a more expensive one. I thought wow Bey-Berk they make expensive boxes! Let me try this! Again, unfortunately for them, I won't consider them when it comes time to purchase a more substantial/expensive watch-box in the future.
I ordered the cherry-wood color. It's not a bad color but maybe the black ones are better made?
