Waistline runs small

Bought a size 16 bc I knew my son would soon outgrow 14’s. He got a few wears out of them before he outgrew them. Bought them in Aug and by Oct the waist is too small. I took him to Old Navy and bought a similar chino school pant in a 16. When I compared the ON waistline to these they have nearly a whole inch more in the waist. They’re cut like a slim fit.

Runs too fitted for our liking

The pants are nice, however I did find that they ran a little to on the tighter side of how they’re making boys clothes for like girls clothing so we went up a size. I’m glad I went I went up a size though they still fit tighter than should be in the behind area. I’ll go up two sizes next time. I strongly dislike how they’re making pants to fit tighter for boys. It’s just silly to me!
