Disappointed in the quality. Expected More

Ive been waiting to purchase Birkenstocks for several years after hearing about their quality and comfort forever. I was disappointed in the quality. The leather is nice enough but not as supple as I hoped. The big gold buckles are very light and have a cheaply-made feeling to them. The famous cork beds didn't seem to have much cork in them and the materials said they were cork and silicone. The foot bed is not very flexible, probably because there is a lot of plastic for the base and in the cork.

Cute, but they squeak (bad) when you walk

I wanted to really love these. I love the white soles. But as soon as I started walking they started this squeaking (farting) noise. I thought well maybe it's because it's the end of the day, so I tried the next morning and it was the same thing.

The color was way lighter than I expected based on the picture and narrow. Love Birkenstock's overall!

Meh cute but

These shoes are cute but the raw straps hurt when moving around walking etc… I have many birks , many with straps but the stiffness and placement even makes walking a chore.
