Such a waste
Tried to use it after getting it unclogged and it worked fine, but after then it turned off, figured it had died out it on charger and it lights up to indicate charging but still won't turn on, not even the hand part when taken off the stick. I am beyond furious.

Sorry to hear this, Jen! It sounds like your brush roll may be seized. Please try removing it, cleaning the brush, and reinserting it. One way you can check is to remove the hand vacuum portion and if it turns on and runs fine, it's the safety shut off turning off the vacuum because of the brush. I can't really say anything great about the product. I believe it was used once or maybe twice. The charge is very short lived and after a couple of uses, it won't charge or anything. We had it unplugged in a box for a couple years and decided to get it back out and see if we were being too picky but we weren't. Still a very sorry vacuum. Never buying another Bissell. Not the quality products they used to be for sure.

Huge waste of money
Used infrequently, mainly for small spills and mainly on tile floors . Was great for steps. Can not believe that for no obvious reason, it suddenly quit working. Tried re-charging till green light started blinking--still nothing. Thought Bissell was a reliable manufacturer but this is ridiculous--expensive for less than 4 dozen uses!

Mine didn't work from the start - total junk.
Just blinks red endlessly when plugged in to charge. I've tried all the suggestions I could find in the user manual and online. I even opened up the machine to look for a connection fault. I can't believe a company continues to sell a product that gets so many poor reviews for reliability. I will never buy a Bissell again.

Was great, until it wasn't.
It was the answer to my pet hair needs, until it stopped working. It started losing power quicker and quicker after about 5 months of use. Then one day it would turn off about 30 seconds after turning it on. It didnt even make it a year. So sad, considering I spent a good amount on it.

Good until it doesn't work
I liked this product for the first year I owned it. However, shortly after the warranty expired, it stopped working. Nothing. It lights up like it charges, then light turns green, but nothing. Too expensive for only a year of use (maybe once a week).

poor charge
It takes way too long to charge this, and then it runs for, maybe 10 minutes. I have hardwood floors, and thought this would be more convenient. I took it out of the box, charged it all night and half the day. Used it for almost 10 minutes, when it started to die down. I plugged it back in. That evening (almost 5 hours later) it is still charging (red light). I got this to do quick clean ups, but I am NOT waiting for this to charge in between uses. I'm returning it and going with a different brand. It's too bad, too, because what little use I got from it, it picked up very well on hardwood floors.
