Some flaws in the design

Good sucking power but the dirt container is so small and the battery doesn’t last very long

Good enough - not for pet owners

Good price point. Small canister to collect debris, opening from suction to canister gets clogged easily with pet hair before the canister is even full, very short battery life, not great for carpet that isn't super short. Ideal for small places that don't have carpet. Not as advertised for pets or carpet ability. I hope they come out with a longer lasting battery. We bought a second battery to make cleaning more functional.

Pretty great except!

The auction is great.: and the roller doesn’t end up with hair that needs to be peeled off. I really love it.. I’m not in love with the mechanism of emptying the dirt.. you can’t just pop open the reservoir.. I feel I have to open it completely to peel off nasty dirt from the filter.. every time!! And I don’t like charging the battery separately from the machine itself. One extra step to get going the next time..

Nope..!! BATTERY LIFE (do not buy)

Do not buy this product. I can't even use the thing without waiting and watching this dumb blinking light for the battery to charge. And when it finally does it dies in 5mins on that turbo setting. Fyi its the only setting that actually picks up dirt!!

Don’t Bother, Try Something Else!

I typically don’t leave reviews, but this vacuum was so bad I had to. Unfortunately this vacuum does not pick up…anything! Even fully charged and on the highest setting it just pushed debris around. It was unexpected considering it’s marketed for pet hair clean up. I really enjoy some other products from Bissell so this was disappointing.

Having issues

It is not working! It has no suckage!! It rolls up the dog hair on the carpet but won’t suck it up. I have no idea if it’s me or the machine.

Battery Life

Bissell Cleanview XR Pet I'm not a review writer. I've owned many bissell products in the past and typically like their brand. This vacuums battery life is alot less than described by the manufacturer. There is 3 vacuum power settings when vacuuming. I use the second power setting and can't even make it a full 15 minutes. I've used this vaccum now a dozen times. It cleans well and does a really great job on the third power setting. But do not expect to vacuum more than just a room on the 3rd power setting. Very disappointed.
