It does what I want
I didn’t need a deep clean, but a surface clean before company came for the holidays. The machine did what I needed it to do. To get a deep cleaning I still will need a professional. I had some trouble keeping water from sliding off my Scotch Guarded fabric, but I did manage to clean most of the surface dirt and the hair left behind by my cat. There’s one purple stain that I know I left, but I can’t remember how I did it. It’s still a shadow of itself.

Worked well
It really did do a deep clean on old stains. I wish it would not spray all over the place when spraying the solution. I had to keep towels on the floor for the amount of liquid that was over spraying

Preventable leak but great cleaner. Recommend buy.
Bought this to test cleaning and for stairs. If passed, I'll bite the bullet and buy a floor model. Most negative reviews were about leaking. It cleaned great (off-white Berber carpet) and is built very well. I did experience leakage when dipping the hose in water for cleaning. I found if I put slight pressure on the dirty water container it stopped. I've only had this a few days so longevity is unknown. It cleaned old pet urine stain, mildew stain, dirt and other unknown stains. I'll be buying a floor model and keep this for spots/stairs after full carpet cleaning.

Great for stairs
I bought this mainly to clean our carpeted stairs. It was super easy to use and maneuver. Sure, I had to refill it every few stairs, but the ease of use made up for that.

Cute but wimpy
Poor engineering to achieve cute design. They must have designed the look and then told the engineers to make it work, but it didn’t go well. Unlike our full size Bissell upright pet carpet cleaner that is as strong as something you would rent, this is weak. The upright is designed so you turn the solution bottle upside down and it stands while you fill it, but this one’s reservoir doesn’t have a flat so you have to hold it while filling, and boy is that annoying if you have not uncapped the cleaning solution before you fill the reservoir with water. This one has its vacuum outlet underneath so you can’t set it down or the vacuum fan can’t work properly. You can feel the vacuum get stronger when you pick it up. And God forbid you tip it over! It pumps out the dirty water in seconds, all over the place! You can also tell that it’s really just a toy because the reservoir doesn’t hold enough solution to do an entire flight of stairs. Such a disappointment compared to our upright!
