Excellent product longer reliable.

This is the fourth time I have gotten this model because it was such a satisfactory product. This one overheats and quickly burns food. At a 250 degree bake setting with the timer set between the empty bread icon and the circle in a period of a couple of minutes this toaster oven will burn rather than heat a small biscuit. Using the toast setting it quickly will burn the bread of a pimento cheese sandwich and leave the filling cold. Is my toaster oven an anomaly from the reliable product I have depended for many years or has something changed in the manufacturing process?

Fire hazard

This thing is straight up a fire hazard. Who ever the genius who put the always on directly next to the off setting needs to be retired. this product needs to be discontinued. you don't put the burn the house down setting under the off setting on the knob unless you are trying to burn the house down. you turn this thing to off, good luck hitting the sweet spot, it goes to always on. your toast burns first then your house.

No pleased with the quality of the interior parts

The exterior seems well constructed. Got a model for the Hispanic market. Works well, a bit noisy when it operates. I am not pleased with the quality of the interior parts. The rack isn't stainless steel, it's a sprayed-on silver coating that strips away and the metal under the coating rusts easily. The drip tray collects stains very easily and is hard to clean. If the scrubber is too abrasive, it strips the silver coating from the pan and if its too soft, it doesn't move the stain at all. Heat from the heating element also leaves scorch marks on the crumb tray. I came here looking for replacement parts for those interior pieces, but there seems to be none. I have had this for 2 months with very light usage and its already showing signs of extensive wear and tear despite minimal usage.

This item is cheaply made. The time button never really worked but I just dealt with it. Today the element caught on fire and they would not return it at Macys because I had it for over a month. Sad.....

Great toaster

This toaster oven has been great so far. I like the black and stainless steel design. I have only used the toast function and it toasts evenly and quickly.

Waste of Money

Don't get me wrong, I like Black and Decker, but this oven is worthless. it stopped heating after about a month. Takes forever to cook a frozen pizza.

Great non-toxic toaster oven

This toaster oven does a good job of toasting and heating things up nicely. Most importantly, I chose it because it was listed as non-toxic / not lined with cancer-causing chemicals or teflon. I wish It came with more directions or suggestions for how to use it. Also I don't love the turn knob at the bottom for the timer - it's very stiff and is hard to stop. But I'm willing to deal with those things for the non-toxic feature ;)
