Very durable!
I’ve had this pair for 4-5 years. I’ve used them all over the White and Green mountains on all types of terrain. I’ve used them for Nordic skiing and backcountry snowshoeing treks. Locking system is excellent, very durable pair of poles, would definitely recommend these poles!

Loss of confidence
Took them for my first hike after buying them and the center section bent into a "C" while descending, causing me to have a pretty hard fall. I bent it back enough for me to make it back home, but I don't know if I could ever trust these again. I have another pair of BD trekking poles that I have had for 12 years that have never failed me once, I just didn't like the old "twist click" part of them, guess I am back to those. BD was quick to process my warranty, and I guess a replacement part is on the way, for all the good that will do. I think I'm just going to toss them in the closet and pull them out for a swap meet next year or something.

Best locking system on the market. Hands down
These poles aren't the lightest (but pretty light) or the most compact out there. They don't have cork handles either. But they are my preferred set for their strength and locking system. The Pro locks are, hands down, the best locking system. Strong and dependable.

Great pools, light, strong, flip lock works great
I got these pools to replace a pair of Black Diamond pools that I used for 10 years and loved. These new pools are also great with improved flip lock and same light, and very strong/stable design. The only down side is the new pools have a more narrow grip and I am finding that my hands get more fatigued after a couple hours of intense use.

Great to use and pretty durable
Have been hiking with these poles for 4 years now. What can I say? First of all - great poles, light-weight, pretty durable and easy to clean. Secondly - sharpness of the spikes is good for hiking on rocky surfaces. Thirdly - light-rejective marking on the poles is still there - in comparison to the just "trail" poles from BD - it is much more durable. What puzzled me a little bit is: 1. That shock-pro feature with little red rubber ring became loose on one of the poles and started to move a bit. This result on a non-cozy feeling when you hike (you have a feeling that something is about to break). 2. W/o putting too much force on the poles - they became a bit non-axis on the most bottom segment and the middle one - which results in a bad closing of the poles. 3. The stripes on the handles became much easier to get loose, so it requires much more time on adjusting those. Apart of this - poles were used for hikes ~800-900 km and still are in good conditions.
