Earrings are so-so

Right out of the box I was a bit disappointed in these earrings. They are not shiny as pictured. The black stone looks like a piece of plastic. I have worn them twice and both times my ears hurt. When I saw them online I thought the clasp was a good idea but they are tight and make my ears hurt. I would not purchase them again.
