I regret this purchase

I had my eye on these cute angel wing stud earrings by Bling for a while. When they went on sale again I sprung, but wish I hadn't. These must have been the last pair they had in stock they were willing to send to Macy's customers. Bling shipped this tiny pair of earrings pinned to a standard earring cardboard in a little acrylic sleeve, free-floating in a giant 19 inch by 16 inch paper mailer envelope. I seriously thought I had received a giant empty paper mailer, only to discover there was a tiny pair of non-boxed earrings floating around in the bottom. Not only were the delicate posts bent, they were each bent in two places, like the letter S. I don't really know how that is even possible. To make matters worse, the minuscule backs on these tiny, S-shaped stud posts don't fit. The holes in the back are bigger than the posts, so the slip around on the posts. I tried to bend the posts into a somewhat straight position, but was afraid they would break off due to the their delicate nature. I'll try again later when I'm more calm, not frustrated. I won't return them because they were on sale, but won't buy any more jewelry from Bling. At least the lesson learned wasn't too expensive.
