No flex, no stretch

I bought 2 pair of the same shorts, navy and khaki.The navy is 1 1/2 inches shorter and the belt is about 6 or 7 inches shorter. They fit pretty good and I like the material even though they have no stretch to them, they say flex stretch but I don’t think so.
