Material is extremely see-through

I’m giving this dress 1 star only because the color is exactly as shown in the picture—it’s beautiful. I ordered a size 6X for my daughter, who is turning 7 tomorrow, and the fit is perfect. However, the material is extremely see-through. The dress is completely transparent, which is really disappointing for a children’s outfit. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to return it since we need it for her birthday. I’ll have to layer it with white leggings and a tank top to make it wearable. Definitely not what I expected from Macy’s.
