Summer in a Bottle

Even though Beach seems to have been reformulated, I'm still liking it enough to give it four stars, I have a small amount of the original Beach Eau de Parfum, and with the new the basic scent is there, however, the top notes seemed a little harsh - something chemical that I couldn't place. However, it has dried down nicely, and that wonderful, nostalgic smell of 60s/70s summer suntan lotion prevails! Not a long lasting scent, but very pleasant, a little floral, beachy and light. I wish Bobbi Brown still made other products in the line, like lotion and scented oil. This two piece set is a good value - and I was able to purchase it on sale! Even if you're not old enough to remember that smell of old school suntan lotion, you might find this a perfect summer fragrance, or something to brighten up a dreary winter day! If you're not familiar with this or any fragrance, please sample first, fragrance is too subjective to make a blind purchase.
