For best results, we recommend using coarsely ground coffee, as a grind that is too fine can lead to excess sediment in your cup. That said, it is normal for French press coffee to contain more sediment than brewing methods that use paper filters, since the permanent stainless steel filter - while more environmentally friendly - is not as fine as paper. Damaged product — quick, easy refund
The next morning made coffee according to directions. When we poured out the coffee, there was much coffee grounds in the cup. On closely examine the filter mechanism, found slight damage, enough to allow about 1/2 the coffee grounds to remainin the brew. Returned it for a full refund. You courteous rep in refunding the purchase price was wonderful.
