Web ID: 20067331Nice warm sturdy snow boots
I bought these boots for my husband and a week into wearing them daily out on the farm in NY winter says they are warm and comfortable. Hope he will not need new ones for years!

A new classic is born!
I purchased these online assuming I was buying the same model as the ones I wear regularly ( Classic Tall ). Somewhere along the line they have changed somewhat significantly. The sole pattern is different, the width of the calf is larger, the upper material is different. But yet, the fit and feel is the same. ( slightly easier to get off due to the calf size ). They have similar warmth ability, which was astounding. The newer sole has excellent traction in snow and while I can't say I won't slip at some point, I did snowblow a 0.3 acre driveway which had ice beneath much of it and didn't slip at all. In roughly two hours at 18 degrees f, my feet stayed as comfortable as in my older versions, and I know those have never allowed my feet to feel cold down to -5 f for 4-6 hours. The bonus here is that they were allowed to be shipped to New York, so what that tells me is that they are of a PFAS free design. I'm happy about that not only from the aspect that I was able to order them, but also obviously because these are better for the environment and our health, and I applaud Bogs for taking that step.

Frosty Toes
I do Christmas light installation in the fall and winter and I bought these boots for warmth because they are rated -40c. They are no good for standing still. (I spend time in lifts). I added Merino wool socks and still no good. They don't keep my feet warm at all. Also too tight around the calf for me. Maybe that's intentional but too tight for me. They keep your feet dry and seem to be good to around 0c or a little lower but as soon as I am standing in snow or up on the lift my feet freeze. They are comfortable for all day wearing however! Maybe if I was walking more but I get around 10k steps easy, its the standing times where they fail.

Middle of the road
Purchased these because they had a good warmth rating (-40C) and slip resistance. I can say after having used them for the last two months (Nov & Dec) that they do not keep your feet warm (and I'm always moving about doing chores on the farm, not standing still). Not sure how they get their -40C rating, but be very leery of these numbers. As for slip resistance, they have nice deep treads, but unless you're walking on fluffy snow, anything else is very slippery (packed snow, ice, etc). Based on my reasons for buying these boots, I would not buy them again.

Returned.
Solidly made heavy duty boot. Did not love the footbed, and found that even after a few minutes my foot started to get sweaty (of course by design rainboots aren’t breathable), but made me worry about wearing them for extended durations. I would have loved to be able to trial them for real and see how they performed outdoors, but was worried I wouldn’t be able to return them and these boots are of course top dollar, so not a risk I was willing to take.

No More Blowouts in the Mud
The one-piece rubber design is amazing. Use your foot to kick them off all you want. The tread won't blowout because there are no seams to tear apart.

Perfect fit
Boots feel true to size and feel very comfortable
Make you want to find a snow drift to wade through
Exactly what I wanted. My old go to the ski hill, fetch wood, walk the dogs, shovel snow, keep my feet dry and warm boots had given up the ghost. A great boot, especially if you’re going to be dealing with relatively deep snow. Bonus that they’re easy on easy off.
