Great Amplifier, Be Patient Linking to Bose App
The Good: Overall, love the sound quality. Great mounting capabilities and options. As a Bose enthusiast I am transitioning my old Bose Systems to the new technology. The Bad: I am using an Android system on my phone and tablet, so this may not be your issues. I ordered 2 amplifiers to drive 4 sets of speakers and it took me over an hour and persistence to get Each amplifier to link to my phone using the Bose App. I ended up trying my tablet on the 2nd Amp and found that only took 10 mins using the Bose App. Though you have an A and B speakers connections, you cannot turn off one or the other speakers. So No Zone A or Zone B currently is capable on the amplifier. Either both on or both off.

Bose Amplifier
I have a Bose sound touch system with three amplifiers. One of the amplifiers went bad therefore, I bought a new Bose amplifier. Then I find out that the amplifier I bought is not compatible with the Bose SoundTouch system. Also the new Bose app is very confusing to use. The sound touch app is a lot better.

Please note that SoundTouch systems are only compatible with other SoundTouch products — they use a dedicated app and are not compatible with Bose smart speakers or other product lines that use different platforms. If you're looking to connect your SoundTouch system with another Bose product, the only available option is through SimpleSync, which allows certain Bose products to pair for synchronized audio. Easy setup , able to stream pretty well with app
I bought the amp about 1 month ago. fairly easy to hook up and setup app. hooked up 4 existing speakers. not sure there is any improvement in sound compared to Onkyo tx-sr806 receiver it amp is replacing. In fact now getting clipping at > 50% volume

Finicky and Limited
I bought this to use with a turntable and CD player but it only allows one input!!! There is no way to control settings except through the phone ap. It is also finicky and I have to reboot often to get it to respond.
