Dye lot different between Jacket and pants

I purchased this item as well as the Boss, slim fit suit pants, both in "dark grey", the goal being for my husband to wear them as a suit. When I received them, I immediately saw that they were from different dye lots, with the pants being slightly darker. They both looked like quality items, but my husband didn't try them on, since they could not have been worn as a suit. I guess that's a risk of purchasing separates with that intention.

Great quality

A true slim-fit, "Create Your Look" series, works best as a business casual attire but also acceptable for more casual events. The Italian fabric is very high quality. The jacket is made in Turkey.
