Terrible MACYS Service

The purchase was a duplicate, and I called right away—before the item was delivered. I was told to wait until the product arrived in order for the return to be processed in the system and so I could take it back to the store. I followed those instructions, but when I called again, I was told it was too late and that the return could no longer be processed, and that I had to keep the product. This is a poor handling of the situation by the store, and I would like you to honor what was initially communicated to me.
