DNF
Read this because people compared it to 1984, one of my favorite books of all time. I don’t think this book is anywhere near as good. The writing style is painful.

Great Book
This is one of my favorite books. Since I am a big classic books fan, this book caught my attention with its utopian society and how bizarre their world had worked. The ending is worth it, believe me. (This is the book that brainwashed me into liking dystopian novels).

Unique Dystopian Novel
This was so different. I’ve never read anything like it. The story was so unique. If you are looking for a really different dystopian book, this is for you.

A Must-Read Classic
This is one of my top 5 favorite books ever since I first read it in high school. Even though this was first published in 1932, the writing feels timeless and is as relevant today as when it was first written. Huxley’s writing is easy to read but gives you a lot to think about. The beginning of the book completely submerges you in this dystopian universe, and it transitions into an intense thought-provoking journey where we even challenge what an ideal dystopia would be. This is a book everyone should at least read once.

Boring At First, But Got Better
At first, the scientific jargon seemed like an information overload and made the book very unpleasant and unexciting to read. However, once you get past that boring part, it’s pretty enjoyable. I think Huxley made a lot of very strong arguments about humanity and predicted a lot of the modern scientific advancements that question our humanity, such as cloning. Also, the philosophical dialogue and Shakespeare references towards the end was really poetic and well done.
