Excellent Coffee Maker
I would've given it a 5/5 if only there was an option to turn on "Keep Warm" when brewing 4 cups and under using the Auto start feature. Seems like at that screen to setup auto start there should be an option to turn on Keep Warm. I understand it is probably removed to dummy proof since probably people will use none heat treated glassware for under 4 cups and not the stock carafe. But having the option to manually turn it on while setting up auto start would've been nice. But overall, it is a great machine, the coffee tastes great same ground same douse on other machines always had issues, but turns out great on this. Definitely recommend it if you can get over the auto start keep warm option under 4 cups.

There is a bug reading water level
I always have a remove carafe lid message Even if the water level in the tank is above the minimum 4 cups. Did everything in the troubleshooting guide. This prevents the keep warm function to work. So I have to microwave my coffee to drink it warm. However it makes the Best drip coffee I ever hard.

Absolutely horrible coffee maker, don’t be fooled
This machine sucks. I don’t know who is writing all these rave reviews or how it’s getting so good write ups by online product review sites. The heating plate is set SO high it burns your coffee, and there is no way to customize it. The extraction is mediocre and the machine is loud as hell. I guess if you’re looking for Starbucks or McDonalds quality coffee at home (ie burnt for consistency) then maybe this is for you. But if you want a smooth, quality cup that will allow you to taste the beans - buy literally anything else

defective
Do not buy this product. My machine is completely defective. When you plug it in, the machine is supposed to auto flush. This does not work, and you cannot skip this step. I have an expensive piece of junk that doesn't make coffee.

Great Coffee Pot
I love the new features, I have an old version as well! The features are easy to use: timer and brew modes I didn't realize it came with a replaceable filter every 3 months. Its such an attractive pot if maintained on the counter as well!

Whoa!
My review is not entirely about this incredible and beautifully designed bit of tech. It is about the other part of basically all technology that does not either get utilized enough or spoken about often. For me, it probably represents the company more than the actual product, and this is the support of the product. Long story short: I got this unit and it was not functioning properly. I opened a support case with Breville about it. It took a bit of communication back and forth for a few days until we eventually ended up doing a video chat so that the support person could see what I was experiencing. Once confirmed, they authorized a new unit on the spot, sent a return authorization for the faulty unit, and shipped the new one out in less than 24 hours. I had to give them a shout out because I used to work in support for many years for a living and I loved when a customer, satisfied with my service, would shout me out. Great product AND support! Get one today!

Disappointed
I have had this a month now and have to say it has not met expectations. Controls are terrible to navigate and the menus need a better explanation. The opening of the carafe is too small restricting access to clean and stains easily. Stainless smudging is constantly needing cleaning. Small pot performance is ok at best and navigating the adjustment for strength and temps is a fiasco. Filter basket cone adapter is cumbersome. I would not buy this again at this price point I expect better from this manufacturer.

Not user friendly and definitely not worth the money
We were so excited to get the Breville coffee maker. It is hard to set up. The clock won’t stay on, the instructions are confusing. Can only find information and videos about past models and how to use them.And most of all, if you use the automatic program option, the coffee is lukewarm warm within 10 minutes in the morning. Very disappointed in this very expensive coffee maker. Thinking about donating it and buying a different coffee maker. Definitely disappointed and it is not worth the money.
