Drip coffee let down
I was let down with the product, very high price but the coffee was no better than any other drip coffee machine. I own a Breville bladder and love it, best quality blender that I have ever owned, so I was let down with the coffee machine. Coffee machine is also very loud when brewing.

Worst coffee maker of all time
Have had this coffee maker for over a month know. Have watched numerous videos and tried many different settings, but this coffee maker makes the worst coffee EVER. DO NOT BUY. I have never felt like I wasted more money in my life. The coffee is very watered down and tastes awful. Nothing you do can save the coffee while using this poor product. I wish I could return but can’t anymore.

Inconsisten operation
This is the third Breville coffeemaker we've bought, and it's the worst. About half the time, it only brews four out of the eight cups of water in the tank. Other times, it brews all eight cups. I've checked for any obstructions and haven't found any, and I've checked the water tank to be sure it's in properly. But sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't. Also, unlike the previous Breville coffeemakers, it requires you to remove the cap on the carafe if you want to brew six or fewer cups. Granted, the coffeemakers looks great, and when it brews the whole pot, the coffee is excellent. But surely there are less troublesome coffeemaker out there.

Too many problems
I've had this for a few weeks and have had some issues. One is when I brew 4 cups or less the water tank still has about a cup of water left in it. The other issue is I don't think it likes filtered well water. I set the hardness level based upon the test results, but the coffee has almost a metallic aftertaste. I switched to bottled water and it went away for the most part, but I'm guessing the water hardness may need to be tested again based upon now using bottled water. I don't have any of these issues when brewing expresso or using a French press, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. Breville support has been slow to respond.

Finally a Brewer worth it's $
It took me a while to take full advantage of my Brewer; and now, I can make a perfect cup of coffee. This is pricey but worth it.
