Largely functional tote with some minor issues

I'm starting a new career that requires me to travel a lot and wanted to treat myself to something durable and attractive. The Expandable Tote was my favorite of the Briggs and Riley options, though it didn't have quite everything I was looking for. There are some small modifications they could make (or I may make manually) that would make this a significantly better product. PROS: I love the wipeable vinyl material and the expandable section. The compressed tote is a good size for me to use on its own, but the expansion is great for unexpected acquisitions and travel. I'm hoping the zipper will last a long time (and appreciate the warranty if it doesn't). KNOWN FLAWS: The laptop pocket is tiny and doesn't fit my laptop (I knew this when I bought it) so I had to buy a case for my laptop and my laptop floats around loosely inside it. If they can't or won't increase the laptop pocket (I know nobody who has a laptop this small), I would love to see them add an elastic strap so that people who have bought extra cases can keep them secure inside the bag. Additionally, I really wish this bag had a second strap, or loops for a second strap (like the Weekender). This was another compromise I made when I bought it, but I didn't realize at time of purchase that the shoulder straps are so long that the bag drags on the floor if carried in the hand (rather than on the shoulder) when expanded. UNEXPECTED ISSUES: After using it for a few weeks, I would really have loved a second water bottle pocket inside, and I didn't realize that the B&R logo is embossed, which some companies (like mine) don't allow for personal purses. These are minor issues overall, but they do make the bag a little less functional than I had hoped. I'm hoping the lifetime warranty and washable outer fabric will make up for the defects in time.
