Excellent Carry-On

This carry-on is the ideal size for both domestic and international travel. It is extremely well made and holds a surprising amount for its compact size. It maneuvers well and as a petite woman, I appreciate the telescoping handle’s variable heights. However, as an over-packer, I would prefer an internal compression system utilizing cinch straps for more efficient use of the main compartment rather than the very stretchy straps that merely hold the contents in place.

Well worth the cost!

Love this bag! It’s petite enough to take on international flights (although beware than many non-USA carriers may weigh your bag and although it might meet the size requirements it could be overweight - for instance Lufthansa does not allow over 17lbs) Even if I check it, it’s a wonderful and reliable traveling companion backed by the Briggs and Riley warranty.

Durable bag with lots of pluses

Bag is more spacious than you'd expect. Worked well even for a 10-day trip with heavier winter clothing. Pluses include the full-diameter 2in expansion feature (more than in most luggage), the deep front zip pocket (able to hold a small jacket in addition to smaller items) and the extra slip-in pocket. Wish the top section was full width rather than two divided pockets. Negatives include that the expansion collapses when the bag is open during packing and the exterior handle seems unnecessary (easy enough to pack between the bars inside) and just means it gets dinged and scuffed with every trip. Overall, though it's pricey, it's a terrific bag with great looks.

Fits International Carry On Rules

I purchased this due to Air France having smaller carry on size rules than domestic carriers. My intention is to use this and Cabin Bag only for my week long travel. The bag does expand so I can always check it on the way home if I shop. I used the bag for a short trip recently. The wheels are super smooth over bumps and crevices. Inside, the metal bars are thinner allowing more room and a flatter bottom. Rather than straps, there are side end pieces that snap together to snug items in. There are 2 small inside zippered compartments in the lid. There is space for phone on the exterior and front compartments as well. Zippers are smooth. The fabric is sturdy and the teal color is lovely.

Not quite worth the high price

I’d give it 4 stars if it weren’t way more expensive than other carry-ons. Main issue is the front pouch zipper not working smoothly, to the point it seems like it will break. Everything else seems fine but for the price I’d expect all the zippers to be perfect
