Favorite Long Run Shoe
I love this shoe and use only these for long runs. They are very supportive around the arch and ankle plus have a lot of room in in the toe box. They are also very well cushioned without feeling over soft and squishy.

Not the best launch version
I have run in Hyperion and Launch for many years and had wanted to stick with Hyperions, but the Hyperion 3 is no longer a light, minimalist shoe and now weighs more than the Launch. The cushioning is good and the shoe feels light, but I am getting blisters on the joint at the base of the big toe on both feet. This has never been an issue with any Brooks shoe, they've never needed breaking in. The laces also are so short that i can barely tie them. With the Hyperion now a completely different model and this Launch version causing discomfort will be looking at other brands

Great fit for older feet
Fit well. Especially like the extra width - as wide as they come. Necessary for my feet now. Look good, too, on an old guy.

Launch 11 Love!
I'm a pain in the...foot, when it comes to finding the right shoes. I wear orthotics to correct flatish arches and am 66 years old. I walk a lot, rarely sit because I'm doing something on my feet all day long and hike with my dogs about 3+ miles, at least every other day. I finally found that Brooks Cascadia 18's fit my feet for hiking perfectly. They are size 12.5 in a medium width. They are comfortably firm and snug my foot and perfectly for hiking. However, I can't wear them all day, as my feet begin to feel constricted and ache due to the snugness of the upper - what makes them great for hiking, doesn't suit me for other day-long non-hiking activities. Also, I do not run, so wasn't looking for shoes to run in. I have also tried many other shoes with no success. After reading reviews about the Brooks Launch 11, I thought I would give them a try in 12.5 and 2E width for less snugness in the upper. I was looking for a comfortable mesh/fabric upper, a sole that was soft, but not too soft, a less inclined foot position from heel to toe(8mm drop, I believe), so my foot wasn't feeling like it was always migrating forward and jambing into the front of the shoe. See, I told you, I'm a pain in the foot - a male Goldilocks without the locks. Well, I have found the perfect shoe!!! These are a perfect blend of everything mentioned above. I love these shoes!

Not the shoe it used to be
Fit was too short. After a couple miles I could feel blisters starting on both big toes. This fit problem has occurred on several Brooks models. I almost feel as if Brooks switched to a different assembly process or different materials. Brooks used to be my go to but no more. Farewell, old friend.

The Perfect Shoe
Excellent shoes. I bought them for running but they've become an all purpose shoe, so I need to get another pair. Comfortable, durable, lightweight, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
