This is my 3rd pair of Brooks. The first 2 were sent back on the Brooks run happy guarantee with no hassle. I have particularly wide feet and have had to go up a whole size (instead of half as usual) and go for the MENS (I'm a woman!) Extra wide versions of these Brooks. Totally gutted they are phasing them out and hope and pray the ghost max 3 will have the same fit in a size 6 XXW! They are comfy, bouncy and soooooo padded around the heel, they're perfect.

Ghost Max2 is the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn . Will always buy this style now .

Heel pain

At first they were great however after the first month I started developing heel pain and now after two months I cannot use them due to immense heel pain. I switched to other shoes and felt a lot better. I work in healthcare and im on my feet most of the day.

Not good for flat feet

I have fallen arches from two back to back pregnancies, so I gave these shoes a try. I felt very supported at first, but after the shoes broke in, I don’t feel like my arches have enough support anymore. I wouldn’t recommend these for someone with fallen arches, but otherwise they have good cushioning and cute design

It's a keeper

Fantastic comfort with this shoe. I had reached the point where even my trusty Hokas were giving me inklings of plantar fasciitis after a couple of miles, but these shoes have rescued my feet! I can go for as long and as far as we want, and still feet supported, comfortable and happy with plenty of room within the toe box to accommodate my wide feet.

Only shoes I wear for work and walking. Style and color are always nice.

Ghost max 2 are very cushiony. I love that due to working on concrete for 8+hours and walking for most of them. The only thing I have bad to say is that after 5 years of wearing Brooks shoes, this is the 1st that runs a bit smaller in size. You may want to order up a half size or even a whole size.

Perfect for street runners with high arches

Absolutely love Brookes shoes and went out of my way to get this specific color because I am obsessed! They are so comfortable with the extra cushion and I absolutely love them. Great for street runners with high arched feet. I recommend going a half size larger than you normally would as they run a light small, especially around the toes. I normally am a 8.5 but had to purchase a 9 so there was enough room in the toe bank. Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because the extra cushion at the bottom makes these shoes a little bit heavier than a normal pair so I find myself needing to lift my legs up a bit more than normal otherwise I'm dragging my feet. Great workout, but kind of annoying.

Worth it

Impressed with the trainers, they allow for uneven surfaces and provide good support
