I love this shoes! I use them for walking as I am a senior. Love the colors, too.

Not loving the foam - too soft

I purchased this pair because I loved my last pair of Glycerins. In the past, I would wear my Glycerins for long runs and easy runs. It tend to run in a few events per year including at least 1 marathon so I like to have a rotation of shoes to reduce risk of injury. Due to the amount of mileage I had placed on my last pair- it was time to get a new pair. At first- I was excited about them. They feel more lightweight than my last pair and the upper felt more breathable. Wearing them, however, was not what I had hoped for. The foam is responsive, but it is too soft. I felt like I was running on a trampoline. I never have had any issues with foot pain from shoes. But, after the first mile- I had to turn right around and jog back home to change shoes, which I never had to do before. Thinking it was a fluke- "maybe I just need to lace these tighter?" I thought, so I tried them again on a different run. Same thing. So, then I asked myself, "maybe I could use these at work?" I wore them there (I work in a hospital- lots of time on my feet)... and by the end of the day- I was regretting that, too. So, overall my feet are disappointed in this model. I'm going to try something else and hopefully will find a good replacement shoe.

Love my Brooks Glycerin in wide. My only complaint is that the limited edition and special colors don’t come in wide. Please make more color options available in wide widths!

I bought the peacock blue ones which are a great color. A lot of colors offered right now are light and white-ish and I wanted something bold and bright so that's great! Sometimes I get a wide toe box but I didnt have to with these. I used to buy a size 9 and now I buy a 9.5 so I dont need wide toe boxes anymore. The fit is perfect and snug in all the right places with good cushioning and support. I use them as an everyday shoe (I am a personal trainer so I wear them all day doing various activities) and they are perfect! Exactly what I wanted.

Sore Arches

My previous shoe was the Glycerin 21 GTS and I loved them. Did a half marathon in them. When I ordered these, I forgot to get the GTS style and quickly realized the normal Glycerins are not supportive. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the inner arch of my foot was hurting during and after all my runs (3-12 mi). I’ve never had foot pain during running so I found this odd. I thought I needed to break them in (haven’t had to break in another pair of Brooks shoes), but when I had to walk the last 3.5 mi of my 12 mi run, I realized that they’re just not the right shoe for me. 1 star for the cool colors.

Great for distance walking on uneven concrete surfaces. The cushioning & "toe grips" help prevent fatigue.

My fave shoes!

After owning two pairs of the Glycerin 20’s because I was so happy with them (same color and all), I got these as an update and I absolutely loooove them. Such a comfortable, the right amount of cushion but with some response where your legs are not overworking at all because it’s too much cushion. It’s just right. I wouldn’t be surprised if I buy them again in the same color like I did my 20’s because I loved them so much.
