I absolutely love my Hyperion 3! They are sooo comfortable and exactly what I need to get me through my first HYROX competition. I feel like I didn't even have to break them in because they have always felt great on my feet.

Huge disappointment

I have loved running in the Hyperion 2. I do not understand why Brooks had to take an amazing shoe and absolutely ruin it. The toebox is way too narrow and tight, unlike the rounded and comfortable toebox in the 2. I went up a half size and it’s still not great. There is weird padding in the heel that feels like it’s pushing my foot forward. And why is there a giant amount of shoe sticking out the back of the heel? None of it makes sense. Brooks please bring back the Hyperion 2! These are a fail for me, will be returning.

Prefer Hyperion 2

It is not nearly as lightweight or comfortable as the Hyperion 2. The “sock” type inner lining is very uncomfortable and gets bunched up when trying to out shoe on.

Almost Perfect.

Great bounce. Love them. They are did purely more snug than the previous version as I am a 7 in shoes and a 7.5 is running sneakers to have some room for swelling for long distances. Next pair I will size up to an 8. But overall love.

I have been a big fan of Brooks for decades, and have loved previous Hyperion versions. The heel of this pair is tight and uncomfortable.

Painful updates with the Hyperion 3

I loved the Hyperion 2. But this shoe rubs on the Achilles tendon badly with its new heel lock support. The upper is tight and HOT! It pushes my toes into the front of the shoe. Toe pain. I gave these shoes to my kid to wear.

Hyperion 3 is terrible

The hyperion 2 was perfect. The update is the WORST and the quality is terrible.
