Not Hyperion
The Hyperion series have been the most amazing running shoes ever for me. Not sure what happened with the “3”, I gave it a good try, fit is super off, heel, toe box, it’s not the Hyperion I knew and loved. I hope the OG Hyperion returns soon. Until then, I’ve got to find a new shoe.

Different shoe than Hyperion 2
I love the Hyperion 2, but needed an upgrade. This shoe is a completely different shoe, it’s long and bulky with a more narrow toe box and the shoe is very stiff. I don’t know why they would change the shoe entirely but it was very disappointing. Had to return them.

Better than expected, very olight!
I didn’t think I would like these because of the larger heel and more cushion than previous versions of the Hyperion. However, these shoes have been so light and easy to run in from the beginning. They don’t feel bulky at all.

Bring back the Hyperion 2
This shoe is bulky. PLEASE bring back the Hyperion 2. The fit is great. It’s a fast light weight shoe. Unfortunately I will not be keeping this shoe.

Too Blocky
Please bring back the Hyperion 2. The Hyperion 3 has too much weight and is trying to a be a shoe (another brand) that it is not. The support is different and I can feel it in my running gait. Brooks RUINED a great shoe!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the Hyperion 2!!!! I have been running in Hyperion Tempo and Hyperion 2’s for a few years. It changed my entire running experience and performance without trying. My training in both speed and distance improved dramatically. I enjoyed just running! The extra, unnecessary effort in an everyday mid-level cushion shoe - gone! I was sooo excited for the 3 only to be devastated that you did a complete revamp on the entire shoe!!! IT IS NOT a Hyperion 3, it is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MODEL SHOE and should have been introduced to the market as such! The fact that you actually ADDED over an ounce to this shoe says enough, Tack on the thick “everyday” upper material and all the bulky cushion, and you succeeded in making nothing more than another “Everyday” runner that looks like every other model you have out right now. The Hyperion 2 was a rare find and Brooks should have embraced that they mastered a tempo and everyday running shoe all in one, and at a great price! There is not a minimalist runner (that actually has great cushion - maybe figure out a TAD more in forefoot) on the market today. I am completely lost and my running game and training is now in shambles. Also, I have been a major fan of Brooks because you have always been good at making upgrades, but maintaining the actual integrity of each individual model/make of shoe, so a runner can count on the next model to continue with their training. YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN CONSISTENT - in a great way. You have never been a trend or fad FOLLOWER, and this was definitely an outside the box move from you designers. I have been running for over 25 years. I have run in every brand and in general, have come to learn I am more on the minimalist side of shoe, but still need cushion with proprioception, at a minimal weight… Hence, the HYPERION, specifically 2 (tried the other Hyperion options, nope:)). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do some minor upgrades to the cushion material, throw in a few new color/pattern designs, and BRING BACK THE “REAL” HYPERION -Classic (yes, you can use it!). I have been left without a running shoe and am now dealing with hip and knee tweaks from trying higher stack and heavier mid-level runners out there. Adizero EVO SL is the closest thing, and misses the mark - cheaper, uncomfortable upper; drop isn’t the sweet 8mm spot; stack a little too high; and too rocker-like, putting undo stress on knees. PLEASE BROOKS!!! I BEG OF YOU, bring back a “REAL” update to the Hyperion 2 - a minimalist classic that offers a surprising amount of cushion and energy return without losing the ground feel that a lot of everyday runners and speed trainers love. LOOK AT ALL OF THE REVIEWS HERE, and please LISTEN. From the casual everyday runner to runners training for races, the shoe took a massive wrong turn. It took a dive into the everyday, not even that great, category. I love BROOKS, so please know this took a lot of my time to write (because running is that important to me) and I mean this review with the utmost respect. Feedback from someone who is a 25 year runner, understands materials and technology, and is just begging you to please bring the Hyperion back (with minor Hyperion-like upgrades) to join the rest of your lines. You now have 4+ Glycerins, figure out how to get this one back in the mix. There are enough high stack, max cushion, rocker, stability, carbon plated runners out there. Keep a speedy classic for those who enjoy the pleasure of just running! Thank you for your time

Runs big
Very comfortable, runs big compared to the older version. I like the older version better. I wish there were more darker colors i liked on them. White shoes just dont stay white for too long.
