Almost Perfect.
Great bounce. Love them. They are did purely more snug than the previous version as I am a 7 in shoes and a 7.5 is running sneakers to have some room for swelling for long distances. Next pair I will size up to an 8. But overall love.

Runs small and too bulky
Runs small and too bulky unfortunately I used hyperion before and this model is definitely different, had to return them

I have been a big fan of Brooks for decades, and have loved previous Hyperion versions. The heel of this pair is tight and uncomfortable.

Painful updates with the Hyperion 3
I loved the Hyperion 2. But this shoe rubs on the Achilles tendon badly with its new heel lock support. The upper is tight and HOT! It pushes my toes into the front of the shoe. Toe pain. I gave these shoes to my kid to wear.

Hyperion 3 is terrible
The hyperion 2 was perfect. The update is the WORST and the quality is terrible.

OK, enjoyed the prior models more.
I loved the prior models but this upper is a bit sung. I know I have flippers for feet (size 11) but my toes feel sung. Do I really need a 11.5?!?! I will say, the cushion is nice and the pillow like feel around the heel is very sweet. I thought about returning them because they felt small but after a few runs my toe nails have survived, so they might be okay.

I would have liked to keep this shoe, but I returned it. It may be that I ordered the wrong size, but the upper felt very snug against my toes. I am sure it is a great shoe. I will try on a larger size next time I am at the running shoe store.

Great Shoe, but not like the previous
I started wearing brooks last year with the Hyperion 2 and Hyperion Max 2 (favorite shoe ever), and I was drawn to this because being a heavier runner and running in glycerins for awhile I just simply needed a lighter shoe, and the Hyperion 2 was it. The Hyperion 2 was amazing on speed days, track days, and 5ks. I bought this shoe hoping for a similar experience and well as other reviews say, it is not that. It is not as quick, nimble, or agile, and definitely fits into the daily trainer category. Now you might be wondering, why it is 5 starts if I am saying all bad things. Well this shoe is not the last shoe, and how I wish they would bring back the Hyperion 2 and Max 2, this shoe is still an extremely nice daily trainer. It is a more responsive shoe than the glycerin and firmer than the glycerin and for that, I really enjoy it and now prefer it over the glycerin. However, I feel as though this shoe needs a different name than Hyperion, because it is not like the previous iterations, this shoe would be perfect if it was the "Hyperion plus" so a shoe that is a daily trainer that sits between the regular hyperion and the Hyperion Max.
