Ratings & Reviews

Here's what customers think
  • The shoes are generally comfortable and well-cushioned, providing good arch support and alleviating foot and knee pain.
  • They are lightweight, breathable, and suitable for various activities like running, walking, and daily wear.
  • However, some customers found the fit to be too narrow or tight in the toe box, even when ordering their usual size.
  • A few also felt the shoes lacked sufficient cushioning and support, especially in the forefoot area.
  • Additionally, there were reports of the shoes feeling slippery on wet surfaces.

I am sending them back. No fault of the shoe. They hurt my feel. I usually get the Ghost but wanted to try something different.

Work friendly shoes

These shoes fit perfect with the toe box not being too small or too big. I have worn these shoes for about 2 weeks, 8-9 hours a day. My feet do not hurt at the end of my shift after standing on my feet almost all day at work as a physical therapist.

Like them so far…

I have pronation and am knock-kneed, but also have weak ankles from a series of ankle sprains due to trail running. I loved previous Glycerin editions (and my FAVORITE, the original Bedlam for road running), but have found that the more cushion they pack into new versions and the taller the soles get, the more wobbly I feel, even in the GTS/stability versions. I don’t want to roll/sprain an ankle again, so I went off in search of a slimmer sole. After several purchases and returns from 3 different brands, I finally came to these. I like the fit. I haven’t ran in them yet, but after several intense walks, they feel secure. I wish they had a little more life/bounce/energy return and wish I could have a hybrid of the glycerins from a few editions back with the mid-sole bounce and maybe a little pillow of gel foam under the heel….but I think they’ll do until this trend of platform-soled shoes finally dies. They are a REALLY nice looking shoe with the slimmer profile, so if you’re an athleisure person, these are cute for that! Hopefully they’ll hold up for gentle runs.

Found them slightly narrow compared to all other brooks shoes I’ve purchased.
