It doesn’t get warm enough even on highest setting and there are pockets with no heat. I much prefer a heated blanket.

It is soft but not warm enough
Doesn’t get hot enough, takes a long time to heat up; there are cold spots. You can turn it off and on with your foot which is convenient. The soft plushie stuff is nice too.

Easier control
I like that the controls are on the unit, not on the power cord. It's easy to turn on/off or adjust temperatures with just a toe tap. I don't care for the sewn divided foot area, which reduces size of foot/shoe you can insert

Great find for a great price.
I like that it's a generous size. My size 8 foot fits well with lots of space around the sides. The 3 heat settings mean I can use as the temperature changes throughout the day.

Brookstone Foot Warmer
Brookstone Foot Warmer needs improvement. I Purchased in early Dec23 for my husband Xmas gift. It’s been two months. He’s used it every night for three hours when he sees TV only. Worked satisfactorily for about two weeks. Then problem emerged: heat is very inconsistent, even when used in same level. Two weeks ago the medium level didn’t warm up at all. Then it came back. He’s put up with this model because we haven’t found another product, and because some heat is better than no heat during cold weather. Do not recommend.
