Stopped working within a month

Blanket was cosy but the plug in outlet was big and clunky. The on/off switch too sensitive and was turned up or off with a very light touch. Then we washed it per the instructions and it only worked sporadically after that

This blanket is soft and when heated at just the first heat button, it heats really well. Excellent Buy!

Beautiful

First off this ribbed throw by Brookstone is beautiful and soft. Looks great even thrown over a chair. The button control is conveniently located at the top of the throw blanket. The only reason I'm giving this a four star is because it doesn't heat up very good.

Soft, washable and stylish!

Brookstone is a brand that is always coming up with something interesting and clever, so when I had a chance to pick up the Heated Luxe Plush Throw, I was pretty excited. After having used it, I’m happy to report that it is stylish, warm and well made…a true credit to the brand. The Ribbed Throw arrived well packed and in great condition. The color was consistent throughout and there weren’t any miss-stitches or frayed edges. Overall it is well-made, cleverly crafted, and was safely shipped to my home. Quite large for a Throw - at 50 x 60, it is very soft and comfortable, and we use it even when we don’t need the heating function. The ribs are plump and aesthetically pleasing to look at. With its neutral color, it is easy to match to most environments and decorating aesthetics…and because it doesn’t have a pattern, it makes it even more versatile. As for the heating, there are four temperature settings, and for forgetful people like me, an auto shut off, which is particularly handy if you fall asleep under it unintentionally. The button is easy to press, and very responsive. Also for the big win - especially if you have little, clumsy kids or husbands;) - the Throw is machine washable and dryer safe so you don’t have to fret about spills or grime. It heats up quickly, and the cord is decently long, and removable if you aren’t using the heat, or plan on throwing it in the laundry. Again I love Brookstone…it’s always exciting to visit their store and see all the new designs and product they’ve created. The Heated Luxe Plush Throw fits in well with the line. I haven’t had it too long, but it is very well-made, and I expect it to last for quite a while, and because it has a timeless appearance it means it will soon go out of style. That’s a win-win for me, and , obviously, a big recommendation.
