Don’t buy Brother printers!

I would not know how well the cartridges work since your crappy, ridiculous printer (MFC J4535DW) DOES NOT PRINT! Who knew that the kill switch would kick in after less than 500 pages printed?! What a piece of JUNK!

False advertising

So I do very little printing at home and never print in color. All of my color is depleted and I cannot use my printer at all. It clearly states 1500 pages on these cartridges yet I have filled the paper tray once since I bought this. I've always been happy with brother printers but this thing is ratchet. I will not be purchasing another brother after I throw this thing in a dumpster.

We understand your Brother LC406 cartridges did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more ink and will shorten the life of the ink cartridge.
